In April 2020, Tuinderij Plantalia was started by Karin Körver. The horticultural business is located between Middelburg and Ritthem in the Province of Zeeland and works on a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) basis. The crops are grown without pesticides, artificial fertilizers or fertilizers of animal origin. At the beginning of the season, members subscribe to a share of the harvest and will then pick the vegetables themselves. The aim is to promote soil health and biodiversity through the way the vegetables are grown. In future seasons there will also be an offer of fruits and flowers.
